| SMOC2

SPARC-related modular calcium-binding Protein 2(SMOC2) acts upstream of or within extracellular matrix organization and positive regulation of cell-substrate adhesion. Located in basement membrane and interstitial matrix. Is expressed in several structures, including alimentary system; central nervous system; genitourinary system; heart; and hemolymphoid system gland. Orthologous to human SMOC2 (SPARC related modular calcium binding 2).
